11 NET Scheme News Issue 48 Professional Sharing Following the lesson, English teachers from both schools gathered to evaluate the session. The local teachers were pleasantly surprised by how confident their students became with careful preparation and guidance. Additionally, our NET, Mr Jason Kasseris, and I conducted a sharing session to introduce our school’s English curriculum. We also illustrated how a whole-school approach and curriculum planning can broaden students’ exposure to the language. Reflections by Students After the three-day trip, most students were thrilled to have made new friends, gained insights into school life in Zhongshan, and experienced the rich culture of our country. In the feedback forms, Ann Yu from S3 noted that socialising wasn’t as daunting as she had anticipated. Another student, Ana Chan, also from S3, expressed that she felt inspired and grateful joining the trip.
