3 NET Scheme News Issue 48 Schools that had outstanding performance in the Super Readers and Title Titans (for the highest student participation) categories were treated to a visit from the ‘Library-on-Wheels’, a mobile library provided through a collaboration with Hong Kong Public Libraries of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department. Students were encouraged to choose, read and borrow a curated selection of great children’s books. Each visit was accompanied by a team of Advisory Teachers and Regional NET Coordinators, who provided reading- themed booths and storytelling activities for the students. Four booths were set up at each event, representing the themes: Students collected stamps after completing each of the booths to fill in a R.E.A.D bookmark which could then be exchanged for prizes.
