Once Upon A Book (OUB) " Your Next Great Read " --- Book Recommendation Brochure

“Your Next Great Read”  aims to provide teachers, students and parents with insights into engaging reads that encourage young readers to immerse themselves in reading books while exploring proper values and attitudes, such as empathy, respect for others, responsibility and unity.  The brochure presents ten stories, each accompanied by concise summaries, insightful reviews, and storytelling videos (click to view) that showcase a range of storytelling techniques performed by the Advisory Teachers and the Regional NET Coordinators at the NET Section.  These videos serve as models for primary and secondary school students to learn about storytelling techniques and are a good reference for teachers and parents who would like to introduce different books to young people.  It is hoped that “Your Next Great Read” will inspire a love for reading in the community and help students discover their next favourite books.
