Once Upon A Book Storytelling Outreach
The Once Upon a Book (OUB) Storytelling Outreach is a community-wide initiative on promotion of a reading culture and sharing the love of reading through storytelling.
The outreach event is organised by the Native-speaking English Teachers Section, Curriculum Development Institute of the Education Bureau (EDB), supported by the Library-on-Wheels of the Hong Kong Public Libraries of Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) and Citywalk. It aims to promote reading and create an engaging environment for English learning among the members of the general public. Through award-winning storytelling performances and interactive, fun booth activities, the event brings our community together around the themes of “Read to Relax”, “Read to Explore” “Read for Artistic Expression” and “Read for Dramatic Expression”.
